A New Year of Weddings

January 18, 2019

On January 5th we kicked off 2019 with our first fabulous wedding of the year! And what a gorgeous day it was. It was our first time at Cooling Castle Barn which we adored working at. They host so many weddings there, everything runs like clockwork and the staff are so happy and friendly. We loved it there. Also, it's a great venue for a winter wedding with lots of twinkly fairy lights set against the dark wood of the barn. We met the lovely guys at Floral Explosion for the first time too. Their stuff is gorgeous and they nailed the winter wedding them: candles, red roses, pine cones and lanterns. There were so many pretty things for us to film!

It's also a great venue as far as the wedding videographer is concerned as it is all in one place. The bride and groom got ready there, the guests mingled in the bar, the ceremony took place next to the bar and the reception room was right next to that. So when you are lugging cameras, tripods and lenses around it was fab not to have to go too far!

And onto the bride and groom.

Liz and Dave are so in love and it was a joy to watch them get married.  Filming their wedding was a real treat as they gave us so much gold! So many loving glances, kisses, quick 'I love yous' - we were spoilt for choice.

As I'm sure was the fab photographer Samantha Jones! It was lovely working with Sam again, and we've already had a sneak peek at some of her shots which are stunning. Sam actually recommended us to Liz and Dave so we are hugely grateful to her and we really hope we get to work with her again soon.

Liz and Dave have jetted off to the Maldives now while we are busy putting together their movie trailer. We're nearly done so it will be released soon...
