Oh my gosh, time has flown - I can't believe it's February already! We were straight in at the start of January with an Epic Indian wedding and Mehndi party (which I will blog about soon), but I first wanted to reflect on the end of the year and an incredible shoot we did on a VERY cold and frosty day in December.
We were invited to the shoot by the lovely Lucy from Caro Events, who was working with Becky from The Lost Village of Dode, a stunning venue in a wild and magical part of rural Kent.
We knew no one, so we turned up nervously, not knowing what to expect. We were greeted by Becky and Sally from Flora Dora Designs, and we knew straight away that everything was going to be fine. Such a friendly bunch, we loved working with everyone so much.
We worked closely with Steve Mulvey, a talented photographer from Cambridgeshire, and Franci his lovely second photographer. Everyone was relaxed, professional and really friendly.
I loved capturing the giggles between the amazing Kerry Ann Wells and Libby Fielder as Kerry attempted to apply lipstick to Libby who just could not keep a straight face.
I loved talking politics in between shots with Anna and Andy from Fancy Pants Emporium, and I loved meeting the birds from Joes Bows Country sports...
I could go on and on, I loved meeting everyone; so much talent and warmth in one place.
We have only done 2 or 3 shoots before as we do get super busy, but they have been such positive experiences and a great way of connecting with the people who work in the same industry as you. It's good to work as a team, get to know each other, share ideas and stories and advice. If any other wedding videographers out there are thinking of connecting with other wedding suppliers, then I say Go For It!
